So Many Reasons

Just another morning, I can’t get on my feet
I’m losing all my time; my mind puts me to sleep
There are so many issues I have to solve today,
I can’t get up on time, I’m slumbering away
I have no time for coffee, I have no time to dress
I can’t keep track of time, my hair looks like a mess
Another lovely morning I have to rush away
I wish I had more time, I wish that I could stay

So many reasons not to stay
Can’t stop to even see
All the good things in this day
Just hold on tight to me...

Time is running late, traffic is a mess
The boss will have to wait, come on,just let me pass
I’m stressing and so tired, so early in the morning
My spinning mind is rushing for what is coming
Still searching for resistance,so I can seize the day
I’m finishing my work, so I can go my way
Struggling anxiety these days that run so fast
I can’t believe its Friday, I finally can rest

So many reasons not to stay
Can’t stop to even see
All the good things in this day
Just hold on tight to me...

Another working day, I didn’t rest my head
I wish I could escape from this relaxing bed
Excitement is the feeling relaxing’s not enough
Life can’t be so thrilling without getting tough
Hoping for a miracle, or bursting into rage
Trying to get out of this imaginary cage
Finding my own way and not taking any bait
I will help myself and the world will have to wait!

So many reasons not to stay
Can’t stop to even see
All the good things in this day
Just hold on tight to me...
